Description:
Dripstop is a proven, economical way of stopping the underside of a metal roof dripping with condensation on uninsulated panels, by trapping and releasing water droplets back into the air. Dripstop membrane turns steel sheeting into anti-condensation roof sheets and is designed to reduce dripping, or running condensate, by creating a vapour barrier on metal roofing panels in buildings with moderate to high levels of humidity.
Do I need Dripstop Anti-condensation?
Dripstop creates a medium for trapping moisture in specially designed pockets formed in the felt membrane. As moisture condenses in high temperature and humidity conditions, Dripstop controls how cyclical condensate forms onto the underside of steel roofing. It does not prevent condensation from forming and, when working correctly, feels damp to the touch.
To help Dripstop work effectively, it is recommended to have a pitched roof of 10 degrees or more. Any lower than this and the shallow angle will cause the water droplets to drip down off the sheet without effectively evaporating back into the environment.
Cladco Profiles 0.7mm Galvanised Corrugated Roofing Sheets provide the same aesthetic as traditional, corrugated iron profiles. 13/3 Corrugated profile features 13 round corrugations, with a width coverage of 990mm when lapped. Corrugated Roofing Sheets are a cost-effective alternative to traditional roofing and cladding materials. We advise using 65mm Screws with Baz Washers to fix these Sheets to Purlins.
The most traditional looking of roof sheets, the 0.7mm thickness of the Cladco Profiles galvanised corrugated roofing sheets provide the same aesthetic as 13/3 corrugated iron cladding profiles. With a width coverage 990mm when lapped, this profile has 13 corrugations of 3-inch round, the 0.7mm is the thickest 13/3 sheet Cladco offer.
This thick galvanised single skin corrugated sheet has many uses in commercial, domestic, industrial and agricultural buildings. You could also use them to over clad an existing roof or as part of an insulated build-up system. Constructions with this type of corrugated sheet should be undertaken down to a 10-degree pitch safely.
