YBS Saddle Clips are engineered for compatibility with all YBS Multifoil Insulation Products. These clips facilitate the recessing of our entire Multifoil Insulation Range by establishing a cavity that enhances insulation reflection.
Measuring 54mm, YBS Saddle Clips are tailored to fix the multifoil to 50mm (Width) Battens or Joists. They allow you to generate an airspace on both sides of your preferred multifoil, streamlining the process and ensuring precise cavity dimensions.
Moreover, these clips find frequent application in double layer setups to meet building regulations, particularly in Pitched and Flat Roof projects, as well as Floor and Wall installations. They guarantee the proper airspace around the selected Multifoil, providing sufficient depth for effective cold reflection and heat retention within your home.
The installation process involves laying the initial layer of multifoil, securing it with clips, and then applying the desired finish. For instances requiring two layers of multifoil insulation, repeat the aforementioned steps, followed by directly installing the secondary layer across the battens.
