Description:
EPDM Coated Rubber Playground Tiles have been designed and manufactured to cushion falls as well as give a slip resistant surface finish.
Our EPDM tiles are suitable for Gym Sport and Playground applications and have been tested for various fall height Head Injury Criterion (HIC) values. Dflect EPDM tiles comply with the strictest standards for impact protection set by EN1177:2008 and EN 1177:2017.
As the EPDM option contains a virgin rubber top layer they are a more expensive product but they do create a unique surface finish. They are also Reach compliant, have increased UV stability and perform better on flammability and smoke classification compared to SBR tiles.
DFLECT Rubber Tiles have channels on the underside to provide excellent drainage properties and impressive critical fall height results. Our dFLECT rubber tiles are also a sustainable product as they are made from recycled rubber granulate.
All our playground tiles are tested in accordance with EN1176 & EN1177. Please refer to the table for exact results. Test certificates are also available on request. Available in 400 x 400mm, 500mm x 500mm & 1000 x 1000mm.
EPDM coated rubber playground tiles are a perfect upgrade on standard SBR tiles where Reach compliance is required.
Manufactured from SBR rubber the top layer of colour is coated with EPDM allowing them to be Reach compliant and have increased fire and smoke resistance. As the tiles are EPDM coated they offer significant savings over our EPDM granulate tiles. However our full EPDM range does have increased choice of colour.
