Cladco Z Purlins are manufactured from 1.8mm thick, structural grade steel, designed to support Roofing Sheets. Metal Purlins are 175mm wide and available in lengths from 1.5m to 9m. High-quality Purlin Cleats and Purlin Sleeves are available for securing Z Purlins within your roof’s structure.
Metal Z Purlins can be produced for sleeved, double-span sleeved, butted and overlapped Purlin support systems. This traditional, well-proven system of Roofing Sheet support offers a high degree of strength, flexibility and weight-saving over timber or hot-rolled steel sections, with ease of handling on-site and during installation.
Cladco sections are designed to BS EN 1993-1-3:2006 using analysis and testing and satisfy the requirements of BS5950: Part 5 (1998). Cladco supply sleeves for joining metal Z purlins together, as well as weld or bolt on cleats for joining metal Z purlins to rafter
- Manufactured to exact lengths
- Made from structural grade Z39 galvanised steel
- 1.8mm thick for maximum strength and longevity
- Lighter, stronger and cheaper than timber purlins
- Independently tested to current CE EN 14782 requirements
