Description:

Dripstop is a proven, economical way of stopping the underside of a metal roof dripping with condensation on uninsulated panels, by trapping and releasing water droplets back into the air. Dripstop membrane turns steel sheeting into anti-condensation roof sheets and is designed to reduce dripping, or running condensate, by creating a vapour barrier on metal roofing panels in buildings with moderate to high levels of humidity.

Do I need Dripstop Anti-condensation?

Dripstop creates a medium for trapping moisture in specially designed pockets formed in the felt membrane. As moisture condenses in high temperature and humidity conditions, Dripstop controls how cyclical condensate forms onto the underside of steel roofing. It does not prevent condensation from forming and, when working correctly, feels damp to the touch.

To help Dripstop work effectively, it is recommended to have a pitched roof of 10 degrees or more. Any lower than this and the shallow angle will cause the water droplets to drip down off the sheet without effectively evaporating back into the environment.

Cladco 34/1000 box profile 0.5 thick roofing sheets, sometimes referred to as single skin box profile sheets that give robust profile roofing sheets strength.

Incorporating 6 profiles of 200mm pitch across the sheet width and 32mm profile height, these are superb roofing sheets for home or commercial use. Some users prefer the appearance of these galvanised box profile sheets as it has lower and fewer profiles. It’s made from a galvanised steel strip and gives 1000mm actual width cover when lapped.

Most commonly seen on industrial, agricultural and commercial buildings, box profile sheets can be used for domestic buildings where required. Available as a single skin profile sheet, it can be used to build up an insulated system, to over clad an existing roof or on its own to provide a solid weatherproof covering on any building. Suitable for roof application of 4 degrees or higher, consider purchasing our profile roofing sheets.
