A natural looking fibre-cement slate with a textured surface and dressed edge. The attractive features of the Westerland fibre-cement slate give the appearance of a natural product with all the light weight, easy to lay benefits of a fibre-cement slate.
Westerland slate has a very attractive appearance, which is very close to that of natural slate. It features a riven surface and natural dressed edge that make it an ideal solution for situations where a traditional appearance is important.
Like all fibre cement slates Cembrit Westerland is lightweight, pre-holed and easy to cut with hand tools meaning nuisance dust is eliminated. Furthermore, as with other fibre cement slates Cembrit Westerland does not need to be graded and sorted like natural slate, enhancing its cost competitiveness with natural roof slate.
The Westerland slate is produced by Cembrit and is manufactured to the highest of British and European standards.
