A lightweight, fully interlocking slate with a thin leading edge made from 80% recycled slate. The interlocks are on the top and side edge of the slate.
Produced by Sandtoft, BritLock slates feature a single lap design and a covering capacity of 11.7m2. The result is savings through fast and easy fitting, reduced roof loading and the fact that fewer tiles are required per m2.
BritLock slates are available in 3 appealing colours and can be laid at pitches as low as 17.5 degrees. This diversity has led to its specification on a wide range of projects such as schools, churches, hotels, leisure centres, apartment blocks and town houses, as well as on traditional residential developments.
