The Rapid Vented Ridge System is a cost effective, ventilating dry fix solution for mechanically fixing ridge tiles. The system is a genuine alternative to a mortar bedded ridge with the added advantage of being quicker and requiring less skill to install.
One carton of the Rapid Vented Ridge System contains sufficient components to fix 5 metres of ridge without the need to leave the roof. The Rapid Vented Ridge System also gives a traditional appearance to the ridge whilst combining the security and weather tightness of mechanically fixed ridge tiles.
The Rapid Vented Ridge System is suitable for use as follows:
- Slates - suitable for use with all Redland slates with concrete Half Round and Universal Angle Ridge Tiles. It is not compatible with Ridge Ventilation Terminals or Half Round Rosemary Ridge Tiles.
- Plain Tiles - suitable for use with DuoPlain with Half Round Ridge Tiles and our concrete Plain Tiles with both Half Round or Universal Angle Ridge Tiles. It is not compatible with Heathland or Rosemary Clay Plain Tiles, Ridge Ventilation Terminals or Half Round Rosemary Ridge.
- Profile Tiles - suitable for use with all profile tiles with Half Round Ridge Tiles except for Old Hollow. It is not compatible with Ridge Ventilation Terminals or Half Round Rosemary Ridge.
