Description:
The Generic Crown Birdguard is designed to prevent birds and debris from entering your Crown / Bishop Chimney Pot. It achieves this with the use of a wired mesh designed to prevent unwanted entry into your system whilst also allowing smoke and fumes to be exhausted efficiently. Fitted with an integral rain hat, it has the added advantage of minimising rain entry helping to prevent internal structural decay.
The Generic Crown Birdguard sits on the inside of the Crown pot. It fits a Crown pot with an internal diameter from 10.5” to 14" (267mm to 356mm) and a height of up to 11” (280mm).
The Generic Crown Birdguard will not fit all Crown pots, if you need any help or advice, or require a different size, please contact us.
Please note, a minimum of 5” (125mm) of unobstructed mesh height must be allowed between the highest point on the chimney pot/outlet and the underside of the raincap. This is required to ensure adequate ventilation of combustion fumes. The Generic Crown Birdguard has a mesh height of 16” (407mm) , so if your pot is more than 11” (280mm) please contact us for a special Birdguard.
